The broad, white-sand beach in Chipipe, near the tip of the Santa Elena Peninsula, is arguably the area’s most appealing beach with an unbeatable location. A short walk from the activities and nightlife of Salinas, Chipipe is known for its quieter and more laid-back atmosphere. This 1,270-square-foot condo on the 10th floor of El Almirante condominium on Chipipe’s malecón provides excellent value for your vacation dollar. The sliding glass doors that span the front of the unit overlook the beach and out to the Pacific, inviting you to get your toes in the warm sand and relax in a beach chair. All you have to do is take one of the two elevators down to street level, cross the malecón, and claim your spot in the sunshine! The living and dining areas of this condo are open to one another, with the fabulous ocean view being the main focus, and one you will enjoy from daybreak to sunset! Relax on the L-shaped sectional sofa with chair while watching television, or enjoy a cup of coffee at the glass-topped dining table as you watch for migrating whales out on the sea. The separate kitchen has a gas range with oven, microwave oven, and refrigerator/freezer, as well as, plentiful upper and lower cabinets providing plenty of storage.
The nearby hallway takes you to the bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a split air conditioner, a queen-sized bed, and a generous picture window with zebra blinds. You will appreciate the en-suite master bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed set plus twin bed. There is a full bathroom off the hall that is convenient to the bedrooms and the main living area. El Almirante condominium building was remodeled just this year. When you can tear yourself away from the gorgeous scenery of the sand and surf, all you have to do is take one of the two elevators down to street level, cross the malecón, and claim your spot in the sunshine! Taxis are plentiful and the main bus routes start just a short block from your front door, making all the restaurants and discos of Salinas, and La Libertad’s great shopping, just minutes away! At $900 per month, this condo is a fantastic vacation value. It is also available for shorter term rental for $200 per night.
