The first thing you notice when you enter the apartment is the large window - almost a whole wall - with its vista of the Pacific Ocean! Great views of the Salinas Pier and Beach are often backlit with colorful sunsets over the ocean. The window also provides lots of natural light throughout the whole apartment. The living area has a large TV and is filled with comfortable furniture. One couch has a pull-out bed and the other is a futon to accommodate any guests you may have. A breakfast bar divides this area from the kitchen, which has granite countertops and ample storage. The bedroom area can be divided from the living room with an attractive screen partition. Notice the lovely built-in headboard for the queen-size bed. The entry to the bathroom and large closet is off this area. The Alamar provides other avenues for entertainment and relaxation. The building boasts two swimming pools for adults and children, a sauna, a steam room, a jacuzzi, and an exercise room. There is a media room large enough to screen movies for your friends and a ping-pong table in the lobby for more enjoyment. (The amenities can be enjoyed with a long term lease). Outside the front door, you are in the middle of the Salinas Malecon, across the street from the beach and close to shops and artisan vendors. Supermarkets and El Paseo Mall are only a short taxi ride away if you have additional shopping to do. The Mall also has a cineplex offering movies in Spanish and English.
